VegaEstimating.ai processes the following categories of data on your behalf: (a) Blueprint and plan files you upload for AI analysis; (b) Project metadata including room measurements, trade quantities, and cost estimates; (c) Account information including name, email, company name, and license number; (d) Usage telemetry such as features accessed and actions taken within the Platform.
Blueprint files uploaded to the Platform are transmitted to AI processing services (including Anthropic Claude and/or OpenAI GPT-4 Vision) solely for the purpose of generating measurements and estimates on your behalf. We do not use your uploaded files to train any AI model without your explicit written consent. Files are processed in isolated, ephemeral sessions and are not retained by AI providers beyond the immediate request.
Your files and project data are stored on AWS infrastructure (S3 and associated services) located in the United States (us-east-2 region). Data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher. Access is restricted to authenticated requests using IAM role-based controls and time-limited presigned URLs.
Blueprint files are retained for 90 days following last access, after which they are automatically deleted from storage. Estimate and project data is retained for the life of your subscription plus 3 years. You may request immediate deletion of any specific file or project by contacting info@vegaplans.com.
We engage the following categories of subprocessors to deliver the Platform: Cloud infrastructure (AWS); AI inference (Anthropic, OpenAI); Payment processing (Stripe); Email delivery (Postmark/SendGrid); Analytics (privacy-respecting aggregated analytics only). All subprocessors are bound by data processing agreements consistent with applicable privacy laws.
You may request an export of all data associated with your account at any time. Exports are provided in JSON or CSV format within 5 business days of request. To request an export, email info@vegaplans.com with the subject line "Data Export Request."
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email info@vegaplans.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." Deletion is completed within 30 days. Note that certain data may be retained longer if required by law or for fraud prevention purposes.
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and relevant authorities within 72 hours of discovery, as required by applicable law, including GDPR where applicable.
